Sailing 301 & 401 Hawk Optimist Learn to Race & Opti Racing Session 1 first half of camp

Prerequisites: Sailing 101 and 102   

Age Range: 8-14 years old

Length of Session: 4 week session CAMP IS CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH

The Optimist learn to race program (Sailing 301) is well suited for sailors, 14 years old and
younger with at least 4 weeks of sail training and successful completion of Sailing 102-
Intermediate Osprey skills. The coach will continue where the Intermediate program left off.
This group will take racing to the next level by learning to read wind shifts, advanced boat handling, race tactics, and race starts.
The team will have the option to sail at off site regattas, 2-3 times per session. 
sailors from other yacht clubs and sailing centers in the Green Fleet (beginner racing). This program is offerred in 2, 4 week sessions.

You may bring your own boat or charter one of our, charter is included in your registration.
 
$1,900 (50% deposit required at time of registration)

$300 discount for bringing your own boat, refunds will issued after registering your sailor, please email Ellen with your intent to bring your own boat.  emacgeorge@bcsailing.org

After you register you will receive an email with your 1st invoice.  If you do not receive the email within 10 minutes of registering, please check your spam folder.  All our communcations are in email form and contain important information.  The first email contains your invoice/receipt for your 1st payment.  The invoice has our tax ID number and should be saved and used for your daycare reimbursement and tax purposes.
